Senior programmer of Division of Mathematic modeling, Education and research Institute of Nanostructures and Biosystems M.M. Slepchenkov has won the Russian President's scholarship for young scientists and post-graduate students.

Senior programmer of Division of Mathematic modeling, Education and research Institute of Nanostructures and Biosystems M.M. Slepchenkov has won the Russian President's scholarship for young scientists and post-graduate students. A mandatory condition for participation in the competition is the implementation of advanced research and development in priority areas of the Russian economic modernization. The work of M.M. Slepchenkov was represented in the direction of "Energy efficiency and conservation, including the issues of the new fuels development". In this direction there was the most serious competition: just 177 of 1214 applications were supported. The theme of M.M. Slepchenkov is "Graphene/graphane blisters as the new energy source". 6 winners at all are the scientists of Saratov University. MM Slepchenkov is the mameber of Professor O.E.Glukhova research team that develops the new scientific direction "Multiscale modeling in the sphere of high technologies and the sciences of the living." The collective realizes the Grant of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation in the framework of the State Task in the field of scientific activity №3.1155.2014 / K RFBR Grants №15-29-01025, №15-07-06307, grant Ministry of Education and science of the Russian Federation №14.575.21.008. Last year, the team represented the project "KVAZAR" - the first innovative open-Russian project, based on computer simulations in nanotechnology and biomedical research, that currently continues to improve its functionality and expand the potential audience of users. Due to this software it will be performed the project "Graphene / graphyne blisters as a new source of energy" that received the support of the Russian President.
