Article by O.E. Glukhova was published in top scientific journal

An article by the head of the research group, Professor O.E. Glukhova "Topology Influence on the Process of Graphene Functionalization by Epoxy and Hydroxyl Groups" was published in the February issue of "The Journal of Physical Chemistry C" (Impact Factor - 4.7). Co-author of the article - a graduate student V.V.Shunaev.
The publication is devoted to the problem of chemical functionalization for mono- and bilayer graphene by epoxy and hydroxyl groups in view of geometric profile of carbon real objects obtained by synthesis.
It should be noted that the journal "Physical Chemistry C" belongs to the publishing house "ACS Publications" (American Chemical Society). At the moment, the journal impact factor is 4.772, making it one of the most prestigious in the field of physical chemistry. In the work it was established the energy characteristics for landing of epoxy and hydroxyl groups on the monolayer and bilayer graphene depending on the curvature.
