Research project under the direction of Olga E. Glukhova was supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research. The theme of the project "A new application of hybrid carbon nanostructures to create a nanodetector of giga- and terahertz waves" is devoted to the development of a new physicalprinciple of detection GHz / THz waves based on the natural features of the physical interaction between carbon nanotube with encapsulated endohedral complexes of the form A+@ C60 and the behavior of this complex (hybrid) nanostructures in external electromagnetic fields. Work on the project will be carried out within the international cooperation between the Department of Radio Engineering and Electrodynamics of the Saratov State University and the Department of Radio Science and Engineering, Aalto University (Helsinki, Finland).
