On December 18-20, 2018, the International Workshop on Electromagnetic Properties of Novel Materials, which brought together leading scientists, researchers and engineers, was held in Moscow (Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology). The purpose of the workshop was to provide and exchange information on the latest advances in basic and applied science about new materials and their electromagnetic characteristics, with particular attention to nanocarbons. The scientific program of the workshop consisted of the following topics: Synthesis and characterization of carbon nanomaterials, Hybrid materials, Electronic properties of nanocarbons, Application of THz and GHz radiation to characterize nanomaterials, Graphene electronics, Magnetic nanomaterials, Theoretical methods and approaches in nanoelectromagnetism, Biomedical application of carbon nanomaterials. Saratov State University was represented at the conference by the head of the department of radio engineering and electrodynamics, Professor O.E. Glukhova. Olga Evgenevna made a presentation on the topic "Interaction of CNT-films and CN-graphene composite films.
