One more joint article by Professor O.E. Glukhova with collaborators from Taiwan is published next

One more joint article by head of the research group, Professor O.E. Gluhova and the research group of Professor Lin of National Cheng Kung University, published in top journal RSC Advanced (Impact Factor 3.84).

This is not the first collaboration of Professor O.E. Gluhova and Professor Lin. Early their joint works has been published in such international rating journals as Advances in Condensed Matter Physics and the Journal of Physical Chemistry C. New article of two national research universities is yet another step towards the strengthening of Russian-Taiwan scientific cooperation.

The paper describes the effect of oxygen concentration on the electronic properties of graphene oxide. It was found that the energy gap of graphene oxide is sensitive to the edge of the orbital hybridization of the C-C, O-O and C-O bonds. Thus, by varying the concentration and type of  bonds for oxygen with graphene one can control the electronic properties of the structure.
