Professor O.E. Glukhova and associate professor M.M. Slepchenkov - co-authors of a new collective monograph published by the international scientific publishing house The Royal Society of Chemistry

In the international publishing house The Royal Society of Chemistry, a new collective monograph "Layered Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion" was published, one of whose authors are employees of the department of mathematical modeling - Head of Department, doctor of sciences O.E. Glukhova and leading programmer, Ph.D. M.M. Slepchenkov.

The published collective monograph consists of 9 chapters, which provide a detailed overview of current advances in research into the prospects for the use of layered materials for various areas of application, including storage and energy conversion. The chapters of the monograph are devoted to such topics as electrocatalysis for fuel cells, lithium-ion batteries, sodium-ion batteries, photovoltaic devices, thermoelectric devices, supercapacitors.

Head of Department, Doctor of Sciences O.E. Glukhova and leading programmer, Ph.D. M.M. Slepchenkov presented the chapter "Graphene – Carbon Nanotube Hybrid Films for High-Performance Photovoltaic Devices” (“Graphene Hybrid Films - Carbon Nanotubes for High-Performance Photovoltaic Devices”), which contains the results of studies on the use of single-layer and two-layer hybrid films of graphene-carbon nanotubes in optoelectronic and photovoltaic devices. Using computer simulation methods, the authors carried out a numerical evaluation of the electrical and optoelectronic parameters of new hybrid carbon nanostructures.
