International Conference and Expo on Condensed Matter Physics, September 25-27, 2017 Valencia, Spain

In Valencia, Spain, an international conference and exhibition "International Congress and Expo on Condensed Matter Physics" was held on September 25-27, September 2017, devoted to advanced issues in the field of condensed matter physics. The work of the conference was conducted in several thematic sections, including Condensed Matter Theory, Numerical Analysis and Modeling in Condensed Matter Physics, Experimental Condensed Matter Physics, Nonlinear Metamaterials and Metasurfaces, Nanoscale Particles, Colloids and Emulsions, Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Information Theory. The main purpose of the conference was to provide an opportunity to create an international collaboration and exchange of scientific ideas with recognized leaders engaged in research and development in the field of condensed matter. The conference was attended by Professor Glukhova Olga Evgenievna. Professor O.E. Glukhova spoke at the conference as an invited speaker with an oral presentation on the topic "Novel composite carbon materials and their applications in condensed matter physics". The report was devoted to new results obtained by the scientific team O.E. Glukhova in the field of theoretical prediction of the structural and electronic properties of new carbon composite materials - 2D graphene / carbon nanotubes and 3D-glassy carbon material. Work under these directions is conducted jointly with the Institute of High Performance Computing (Institute of High Performance Computing, Singapore).
